Internships We offer students, recent graduates and candidates shortly before their final examination the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. In almost all areas of our publishing group, we have worked very productively and successfully with interns for many years. An internship in the holding Springer Science+Business Media, in Springer’s Science, Technology & Medicine (STM) division or in our B2B businesses yields excellent insights into the working world and provides guidance to those that seek to start out in publishing. You can use skills and knowledge you gained during your studies, and see intra-company cooperation first. As an intern, you will be integrated into the operations of a department for a period of three to six months, depending both on your qualifications and goals, and also on the availability of staff to guide your activities. Your tasks will range from support in day-to-day operations to the independent implementation of individual projects. Our highly demanding internships are closely tied to real-life business operations. You will have the opportunity to tackle specific problems and solve them independently. The internship prepares you for professional life through problem-solving tasks in a realistic business setting while providing early entrepreneurial experience.
