Springer offers free access to papers by this year’s Nobel Prize laureates on SpringerLink

Eight 2009 Nobel Prize winners published in Springer books and journals

 

Springer is offering all journal articles and book chapters written by this year’s Nobel Prize laureates free of charge on its online information platform www.springerlink.com. The articles and chapters will be available to print out or download from now until 31 December 2009.

Elizabeth H. Blackburn, Carol W. Greider and Jack W. Szostak, winners of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, published their research in journals such as Current Genetics and Origins of Life and Evolution of Biospheres. The Physics Prize laureate, Charles K. Kao, contributed to the journal Applied Scientific Research. Thomas A. Steitz and Ada E. Yonath, who received the Chemistry Prize, chose journals like Extremophiles or Immunogenetics to publish their papers. The winners of the Prize in Economic Sciences, Elinor Ostrom and Oliver E. Williamson, contributed many articles to the journals Public Choice and Policy Sciences.
